Background

The zone... It's going to kill everyone, but at least it's honest about it.

I'm sick and tired of all the incessant infighting, gossipping and posturing in the Ark. It was already unbearable and then I began hearing their thoughts. The zone, in contrast, is uncomplicated. You either survive or you don't. I go there to scavenge for useful items. Sometimes I take people along like Ava, Bolt & Octavia. With Ava I have a bond of sharing information about the zone and exchanging tips & tricks.

When there's no frost, I camp out in one of the old life boats. It offers me escape from the crowd. I avoid the worst of the mutants, like Harper, and stick with those who actually contribute to our survival, like Octavia. Harper is the worst; I hope Lincoln throws him overboard.

Not so long ago, everything seemed manageable, but then the elder began to weaken, and the supplies started to run out. This Ark is sinking, and everyone knows it. I wish we could put an end to all this bickering and focus on building a productive community. That, or find some place which can actually be that.
