A large island in the river northeast from the Ark in quadrant F-19.
It's inhabited by a group of 40 to 50 humanoid creatures. They speak a rudimentary version of our language. All dressed like Zone Ghouls and they exhibit a somewhat similar response to sunlight as Zone Ghouls do.
Bolt learns this island is a water purification plant with various basins and buildings all serving this process.
In the middle of the island there used to be a huge chimney where a giant bird had its nest. But this chimney collapsed.
