Background

Octavia was the last child born in the Ark, that's what the Elder said. Her sharp mind caught the Elder's attention, leading to her early designation as a chronicler. Entrusted with documenting the tales of the Ark.

When she grow up, she was known for her amiable nature. Octavia was not just a chronicler but a source of inspiration. Her friendly demeanor uplifted the spirits of those within the Ark, fostering camaraderie and unity in the face of the harsh realities of the wasteland.

Driven by a desire to aid others, Octavia acquired the skills of a Bonesaw, mending wounds and curing ailments, except the insidious rot. Her compassionate efforts solidified her role as a healer within the Ark, but the lingering challenge of the rot fueled her determination to find a cure.

The inability to cure the rot haunted Octavia's dreams. This seemingly insurmountable challenge fueled her determination to seek a remedy, a mission that transcended the boundaries of the Ark.

As resources within the Ark dwindled, scarcity bred discord. Factions emerged, competing for resources. People were killed for no reason at all inside the Ark, like Sarah. Some people are even worse than the Rot.

A transformative moment arrived with Octavia's own mutation – the rot-eater ability. Now resistant to the rot, her conviction deepened. This newfound immunity convinced her to occasionally join Tesla, a Stalker, on perilous missions into the Zone, seeking information vital to her quest against the rot.

In the face of adversity, Octavia, the Rot-Eater Chronicler, embarked on a multifaceted mission – to cure the rot, unite her people, and transform the tainted resources into a beacon of hope for the Ark's survival.
