Elder's Warning: Octavia, however, couldn't stifle her curiosity about the world outside. Despite the Elder's persistent cautions regarding the hazards of the Zone and the ever-present threat of the rot, Octavia harbored an unyielding desire to explore the mysteries beyond our fortified walls.

Gift of Immunity: A twist of fate intervened when Octavia developed an unusual ability – the power to resist the debilitating effects of the rot. Octavia found herself free from the fear that had previously held her back.

Facing Desperation: As the Ark grappled with diminishing resources and the specter of hunger loomed, even the Elder, who staunchly advocated staying within the Ark, contemplated the once-unthinkable idea of seeking sustenance in the perilous Zone.
