Generic

  • We are using the 13th Age Second Edition rules for this campaign

Character Creation

  • Your character starts at level 3
  • All Classes and Kins from the 2E Heroes' Handbook (HH) are allowed
  • For ability scores you can use the "Default Array" or the "Good-At-Everything Array" from the book (HH:24).
  • Icon relations: You can choose any icon from the 2E book, or the Orc Lord. The Orc Lord isn't dead in our adventure, and plays a big role. He is a Villainous Icon, so if you have a positive relation with him, you have some explaining to do.
  • You are a hero, not a villain.

Playing

  • We don't plan to track gold pieces (there won't be options to spend them anyways). Rewards will be in item/potions etc.
  • We plan to use miniatures in battles to indicate where people are approximately standing.
  • For recovery roles you can choose to roll or take the average (as is described in HH:304)
