2. The Elf Queen

You have, in one way or another — through feats of courage, moments of startling luck, or perhaps sheer, desperate necessity — caught the attention of The Elf Queen's her agents. Now, a summons has arrived, not to the heart of her royal court, but to the frontier.
You are underway to the settlement of Summervale, a quiet haven perched near the western edge of the Queen's Wood. The Queen's forces are assembling, and you have been asked to help out in the war to come. For the Orc army of General Gul is assembling, and it is sure to result in a conflict. But before the main Elven army marches, specialized talents and abilities are desperately needed. You have been summoned to compete for the honor of joining the Queen's Wayfinders, ranging ahead to prepare the path!
1. The Orc Lord

Somehow, you have been chosen. Whether you asked for it, or was unable to hide - it does not matter. Now, you have no chance to disobey, for the consequences of failure are most certainly deadly.... You are not sure how the Orc Lord noticed you, or why you were tasked with the impossible, but you are sure that you have to succeed, or die trying.
You did hear already, even before you were contacted, about the rampaging Orc army to the north. You dismissed it as a fairy tale, but this assignment shows otherwise - and if you need to intervene, it also means that something is up. Why would an Orc General defect? All you know is that your assignment is to stop General Gul and her Red Flag Army.
A small upside is that you are not alone. You met five other adventurers in the last two weeks on your way north, all of whom were told the same. You can but hope that together you will be able to succeed.
Because failure is not an option...
