25 - Zybilna's desire

Hearts desire - part III
Dhanell and Ashira were tangled up in the carpet, which suddenly started to shrink. Luckily they both made it out before they suffocated and started to attack it. I go round handing out the white roses, but they didn't pay attention to them and kept assaulting the carpet until it ended up badly damaged, crumpled up on the floor.
Now we notice a door to the west adorned with a lions head, but locked as a lot of the doors seem to be. The north door however does open up into a hallway. To the east a stairs leads up to a round tower containing a green chest on an iron pedestal, empty though.
As we're getting sleepy by now we decide to return to the carriage room which feels the safest to get some rest. Shortly after we're joined again by Frostbite who tells an incoherent story about chests and gems and more locked doors.
After we had our well deserved rest, we continue our investigation deeper into the castle, various hallways and rooms. Together with Maeve I check out various colored bedrooms. Meanwhile the others decide they want to reach the central tower and use their ropes to tie to the balcony and the paladin floating mid-air. Maeve encounter a door which is made up of two halves of a cat's head. It even talks to us talking about faith or destiny. We need some kind of password I guess. Glad Maeve convinces the door to let us in. Once we're done checking out the various rooms, we join the others and also climb across to the main tower.
There's someone there named Zargash. It seems this person is not a friend of Zybilna and thus should be taken care of. Maeve has him drink some of the fountain water which turns him silly. We take his stuff and Zephyr ties him up leaving him in one of the siderooms. We learn he's a worshipper of Orcus the demon lord and thus as we suspected, very evil! Better get rid of him by dropping him in the vortex surrounding the tower, but somehow he manages to disappear into a puff of purple smoke.
Time to continue our investigation into the palace. The next challenge we face is a big door with various locks. Ashira tries to lockpick the locks but as one opens, the previously opened one closes again. This needs some more thought.
