Chult, day 1

Urdic's request

Pine, Lerea, Nibbles and I are sitting in the Inn talking about the day. Half an hour later Urdic, the Tabaxi and the Half-Orc arrive. Urdic tells us that they arranged that they can help Draza by also entering the pit, without weapons! And then he asks us if we want to join them. Does he think we are crazy? Going voluntarily in a pit with these dinosaurs, without any weapons! I will watch from the side, that's what I'll do. It seems the rest agrees with me and all plan to just watch the event.

Sword Juggling Show

That evening it's time for my performance! Ivy, Daisy and Holly are in a good mood. I start juggling with them and add some tricks to it. I do some acrobatic mock combat and various weapon-tricks. It seems the crowd is pleased! Then I notice River and Flask in the crowd. Let's see if they are in for some fun! I invite them onto the stage and position them to the wall. Then I give Ivy and kiss and throw her right next to Flask's left arm. Daisy is next, right between River's legs. And last but not least it's Holly time! I throw her between River's and Flask's heads. The crowd cheers! I thank River and Flask and end the show. The innkeeper is pleased, we can stay the next night for free and I even get 3 gold!

When we are all back at our table River and Flask join us. They are wondering how we will make sure that Pine and Lerea win their races tomorrow. Good question indeed! I have some ideas, but don't plan to share those with the others. Lerea plans to have a stick with meat to make Bone Cruncher run faster. Pine just trusts her skills. Nibbles is thinking about leading some dinosaurs off-track with meat and a mage hand. The rest of the evening a lot of people want to talk to me and buy me drinks. At some point I end up in bed, but not sure exactly how that went...

Chult, day 2

Executioner's Run

Then it's time for the morning show! I still have a hangover when we leave the inn. A big crowd has gathered around the Executioner's pit. Urdic and Undril give their weapon to Lerea and enter the pit to defend Draza. The dinosaurs are really small, like big turkeys! But they still look vicious. I'm glad i'm up here and not there. I start to insult one with some subtle enchantments: "Your mother is a purse!". That should help Urdic. The dinosaurs start to run towards Urdic and Undril. The 3 prisoners hide behind them. What is this, nobody is running? This makes it more an "Execution" instead of an "Executioner's Run". I throw some more enchanted insults at the dinosaurs: "A kitten bites harder than you!", "Your father is a turkey!". Urdics starts hitting them with his bare fist. It helps, but there are way too many dinosaurs. One of them bites Draza and he falls to the floor. Urdic gets angry and a bolt of lightning shoots from his mouth. It hits at least 3 dinosaurs and one drops dead.

The other 2 prisoners see this all happen and try to run around the dinosaurs while the dinosaurs are still focusing on Urdic and Undril. How long will they survive this? Do they plan on knocking them all down with their bare fists?
