Description

Smoke's powers were kick-started at the age of 9 when the airplane that would bring him and his parents to their holiday resort, crashed. No-one survived the accident except Smoke. It seemed he turned into smoke at the moment of impact. Authorities assumed he died with the rest of the people in the airplane.
From that time on, his mutant powers manifested themselves with increasing frequency. He also started to look more non-human and people began to dislike him. So he became an outcast and wandered around. Thieving kept him alive. It started small, but it became bigger with the years and in the end he did all kind of stuff (assassination, theft, etc.) for professional crime organisations. His powers helped him a lot during this time. At the age of 23 he was convinced by Professor Xavier into joining Bi-X.

Smoke has the mutant ability to turn into smoke and to control any kind of gas/smoke. His skin is very strange and continuously emits smoke. It provides him supernatural agility, durability and toughness, but it also makes him appear very non-human. Smoke is also an excellent thief and hand-to-hand combatant.

Smoke has lived most of his life as a loner. People are afraid of him from the day smoke appeared from his skin. He lived mostly at night, so people wouldn't notice the smoke. His favorite weather is fog. Now he's found his home at Bi-X, where everyone accepts him the way he is.
