I can't remember too much from that morning anymore... it is a bit of a blur. But we left on the raft to free the [[Pure-One]]s, that's for sure... | |||
We were on the raft for a few hours and then put it on the East-shore close to J-19 where we continued on foot. That area was a wasteland... not many buildings, and everything in ashes. It was clear there was going to be Rot here, and [[Bolt]] prepared himself by putting on his Rot-suit. | |||
And indeed, we started to notice the effects while [[Tesla]] found a path through the area. | |||
J-20 wasn't much better. It looked like there was high vegetation here, but it was all burned and dead. Until we were an hour into the area and we noticed some of these dead trees being overgrown with vines and beautiful flowers! | |||
[[Finn]] went ahead closed to the flowers to investigate, but right when he came close a big cloud of some kind of dust came from the flowers, and [[Finn]] dropped on the ground. What was that? poison? Was he still alive? | |||
It wasn't safe to get close because of the clouds, but still [[Lincoln]] crawled towards him while covering his mouth and nose with a rag. There were bones on the ground, and [[Finn]] was stuck. Thorned vines grapples his legs. | |||
I encouraged [[Lincoln]] to cut [[Finn]] loose and get out of there quickly! [[Rianna]], [[Bolt]] and [[Tesla]] all help with fire, aced and a machete and manage to get [[Finn]] away from there. | |||
I have a look at [[Finn]]. He seems to be sleeping? His leg is wounded and might have a concussion. While trying to heal him my mind cannot focus. Thought go to last night again and [[Lincoln]]. He did safe [[Finn]].. he has to be good right? Luckily [[Rianna]] arrives and helps me to treat [[Finn]]. It's only after we are done I notice her hair?!! It was bright-red? What happened there? That wasn't the case earlier today... or was it? | |||
We took a big circle around the area with the flowers and [[Tesla]] even found some tracks from a large vehicle! We might be getting close, and decide to spend the night a few hundred meters from the track. | |||
That evening when it got dark we saw lights coming from a huge tower in the south-east. And the lights changed every now and then. At one moment we even saw some kind of beam of light next to the tower pointing into the air. But a moment later it was gone again. | |||
The rest of that evening [[Tesla]] was there for me. We talked a lot, I even cried a bit. So much happened lately and it was all filling my head with thoughts. But she helped me make sense of all things again, and that night I slept very well. | |||
In the morning I cooked all the contaminated Rot [[Tesla]] had, and I made some more time to check up on [[Finn]]. I explained that he should take it slow, and gave him some tips of how to handle his concussion to speed up his recovery. | |||
Then we left into K-21. There were more buildings here in decent states, but not big like that huge tower. When we were getting closer to it we saw it had a huge wall of scrap around it, with people walking on top of it. There also was one of those big vehicles blocking the entrance. Maybe they could drive it to open the gate? | |||
[[Tesla]] and [[Ava]] went ahead to scout the rest of the area and get a better view. They figured out there were about 10 people on the walls, all woman with guns. Outside of the walls they saw remains of Zone-Ghouls. They didn't find any weak spot in the walls, the gate was the way to go in. | |||
After that we spend some time with [[Lincoln]] searching for tunnels. He hoped that there was an underground way to get in, like at the [[Pure-Plant]]. But we found nothing... | |||

And a huge tower
