23 - Our Hearts Desire

But this isn't Baldur's Gate!
Zephyr vanishes in mid air, followed by the door opening. Frostbite checks the hallway and closes the door again. Soon after we hear someone knocking at the door. Frostbite states "There's no one here!". We hear Endelyn stating that if we let her in and have a chat, nobody has to get hurt, which wouldn't end well for her, but also for some of us.
Frostbite and me are hiding out on the balcony, keeping an eye on the approaching big birds. Maves growls at Endelyn, who tells us we need to take Skila along with us so we can take care of Kelek as she had already explained to us.
All of a sudden there's a lot of screaming going on from further inside the tower. "INTRUDERS!!"; Endlyn asks us to recall our friend, but Maeve explains how much good that would do... AShira meanwhile goes on to collect Skila or Charme or however she's called. And goes on to explain to her she needs to come along with us to take care of Kelek.
Six huge cranes have now landed on the balcony allowing us to mount them. I quickly climb on and start thinking about Baldur's Gate, curious how my hearts desire will work out. The others, including Skila also mount the birds. Frostbite is in weird chirping conversation with his bird almost the entire flight.
Apparently the hearts desire the prophecy was referring though isn't mine, but the palace which is called like that. The palace of Zybylna. During the flight there, we have a great view of Prismeer and we eventually land in the garden facing the front entrance of the palace. One of the towers is held up by a huge beanstalk. The garden is very fragrant with the smells of all the numerous flowers. A stream crosses the garden, and a ring of standing stones and a pavilion can be seen here as well. Frostbite wanders of towards the entrance doors of the palace, while the rest of us are attracted to music and chatter emitting from the pavilion. Crossing the garden going there we see inscets which seem frozen in time. Even the stream looks like it was frozen, although stepping on it reveals it is still fluid, but my paw only feels wet after pulling it out again; weird! All of a sudden we see large flocks of birds rising from the forest beneath the palace, quickly followed by the a green dragon swooping over us before disappearing behind the inner castle walls.
AS we reach the pavilion there are a bunch of guests, animals and humanoids alike, having a tea party. They are accompanied by a badger violin orchestra. On of the guests is a headless dwarf and I wonder if the snapping pumpkin head is his. They tell us they got here via the Fey crossing, but they got no idea how long they've been here now. The hags got them here apparently and taught them to talk and play the violin. We're invited to have some tea as well, but then we notice a giftbox with a small card attached to it, addressed to us. Ashira unpacks the gif which contains an amulet and a letter.
