DOA + 0 - Lost in space

Blood sample

When it's almost my turn to collect my stuff, Manon-Therese asks me to check out some goo she found. My initial conclusion is that it's blood. But as I don't like blood appearing at weird please as that would really freak me out, I'm gonna make sure in the medical bay. Luckily there's some crude lab equipment there which I can use to examine the sample. Then my concerns are proven to be true, it actually is blood. Not too happy with my findings I report back and start waiting for my turn again at the lockers. This is somewhat worrying me though. Manon-Therese seems really stressed out, something I can really relate too. I offer her a tranquilizer but she thinks she's better off with a cigarette
When I get to my locker I grab a set of casual clothing and my Gucci bag filled with my most important possessions, I quickly scramble off to the medical bay again where I noticed a toilet annex changing room. I get rid of the fashion disaster which is the bathing robe and don my own clothes. Next I grab my blackberry, which obviously has no connection here in outer space. The final few messages still in there are from some of my friends wishing me a good journey.

Waiting...

I decide to wait in the medical bay until there's an announcement again. For now I got no idea what's going on, so I remain in the medical bayplaying around a bit with the available equipment. Checking out if my medical supplies in my personal stash have suffered from the long joruney. It doesn't seem to have had any effect. That along with my physical state starts to make me wonder even more what's going on. I of course know how cryo statis works, but I hadn't expected to notice this little about it.
All of a sudden I'm startled by the main screen lightning up. There's an incoming message with an onscreen accept button. As I touch the button, Manon-Therese's faces fills the screen. She has apperently still not found her relatives so she quickly disconnects again in search of them. I hope she'll find them all in one piece.
