Day 26
While were were handling the combat, the hobgoblins and the human on the Bulette from the entrance joined the fight. Varaf casted some spell that charmed most of the hobgoblins and the Bulette. We took care of the enemies one by one. Then the human on the Bulette gave some order and the Bulette started to dig in the ground under him. Within a few seconds he disappeared under the ground and the newly created tunnel already started to collapse again. We took care of the leftover hobgoblins and decided to go outside to get a good night sleep.
Day 27
The next morning we went down again and found the room after the entrance empty. Naeris listened at one of the unexplored doors there and heard some voices talking in Dwarven. It seems they had to take guard, but were afraid of us. We decided to enter the room and tell them to leave. But when we entered it was empty and quiet. Maret and me walked to the center of the room and she casted a detect magic to see if there was any magic. She noticed something at the south of the room. Then it started moving towards the door. And the rest of the group waiting there got shoved aside. They were invisibile!
We quickly tried to follow them. Listening if we could hear them, and try to detect where they were going. We followed them through some hallways and came at a big chasm with a bridge leading to circular stairs going in a square around a black pillar. We decided to not follow them further.
We went back a little exploring more of these hallways. Naeris listened on a door, and since it was quiet I opened it. There we were suprised by a group of enemies. A few sitting at a table playing cards, others lying in their bed. A fight started. Some caster casted something which most of us could shake of. But it seems that it hit Varaf, since his words were coming our of his mouth a lot slower and all his movements seems slower. Maret and me entered the room to tank the enemies. Then finally Varaf's cast finished and it appeared we had run into the area he targeted. He casted a Hypnotic Pattern and it charmed me, but luckely also most of the enemies. A few moments later Naeris shaked me out of the stupor. We were ordered by Varaf to focus fire on the not charmed enemies, but Lirmyi ignored that shockwaving 3 of them in which he released 2 of them from their charm. Luckely we still could handle them and won the fight.
